MediServe Managed Services
MediLinks is MediServe's integrated point-of-care application suite that supports clinical information activities and tasks of the department including: charting/documentation, charge capture & revenue enhancement, automated protocols, outcomes measurement, automated financial reporting, order tracking & processing, and quality assurance management. MediLinks is powered by Microsoft's SQL Server relational database and supports applicable HIPAA and CMS standards. MediLinks supports the latest hardware, software and network designs including notebook, tablet, PDA, pen-based, thin-client and wirelessly networked PC's for point of care data collection. MediLinks utilizes HL7 interfacing for providing connectivity with existing HIS solutions.
MediLinks Scheduling supports patient, practitioner, equipment, location and user-defined resource scheduling as well as activity report generation for inpatient and/or outpatient departments across multiple facilities. Features include daily and weekly, single/multiple resource, recurrent and "back-to-back" scheduling, appointment type search, authorization/plan of care tracking, and group scheduling, with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary continuity of care. Key reports include referral and authorization tracking, cancellation/no shows, resource utilization/productivity, daily/weekly by individual, area, program and facility.
MediLinks Flowsheets are multi-disciplinary templates used to both observe patient information and to enter patient data. The data is typically auto-populated directly from the clinical charting templates or entered directly in the flowsheet by the clinician, which creates a clinical charting record in return. The range of applications for the flowsheet is varied and can encompass most required documentation tasks required from clinicians. The columns, rows and tabs can be custom configured, giving clinicians considerable flexibility in tailoring the tool to meet their needs. Flowsheets give the client the ability to increase accuracy and save time recording required documentation.
ReportLink™ allows managers to extract departmental knowledge from historical data via an easy to use query tool and facilitates the creation of accurate, timely reports. The output is provided in a format compatible with existing report-writing tools (i.e., Excel, Crystal Reports).
MediServe's Managed Services is the ideal solution for a client who needs MediLinks but lacks an IT infrastructure or staff to maintain the infrastructure and system. MediServe offers an infrastructure that is specifically tuned for the MediLinks system, together with all management services required to maintain the product and the underlying IT infrastructure.
